In order to celebrate National Sports' Week, the whole school abandoned the usual time table and dedicated the whole week to sport. And what a week it was!
The children were able to take part in loads of sports ranging from football, to tennis, to rugby, to Boccia, to basketball. In addition to all of the specialise coaches who came in, we also have an inspirational talk from Charlotte Hartley (Olympic Hockey player). Some children were able to visit the Halliwell Jones stadium, home to Warrington Wolves, for an amazing stadium tour whilst others took part in the Road to Rio, a celebration of the Olympics.
The highlight of the week was definitely the Ninja Warrior Assault course. Every child took part before the staff attempted the challenge. A special mention must go out to Mr Chesworth who was the only member of staff to complete the course correctly!
