Year 4 Trip
19th October 2015
As a launch to their first Topic Week of the year, Year 4 visited Liverpool. The purpose of the trip was to find out what life in a city was actually like so that they could compare this to village life in Culcheth. The action packed day started in the Museum of Liverpool where the children looked at the music and sport within the city (as well as going on a Liver Bird hunt around the museum). They then jumped on a city sight-seeing bus which visted all the major tourist attractions. Finally, after a brief lunch stop in front of the 3 Graces, the children marched through the city to the St. John's Tower. At the top, they could really understand how big the city of Liverpool is. All in all, it was a fantastic day out and the children really learnt what city living was like.
