Year 2 worked with The Peace Centre today taking part in the 'tiny steps' project. Tiny Steps for Peace is a steppingstone for primary school children to encourage positive relationships among peers.
Tiny steps is based around an interactive storytelling and activity mat, following the adventurous story of two aliens sent on a mission to Earth and how they can resolve an ongoing conflict and create peace.
Tiny Steps takes a holistic approach to learning, tuning in with every child's unique needs and skills. The holistic educational approach is based on the idea that children can be taught through 'play' encouraging curiosity in a more natural and engaging way.
